Strathmore and District Riding club (SDRC) is based in Tayside, Scotland and was established in 1972.
We have just celebrated our 50th Anniversary and what a year it was!
We are an affiliated riding club with the British Riding Clubs and hold various qualifiers throughout the season.

From 1 January 2023, BRC will no longer be accepting two of the older hat standards and will therefore need to re-tag hats In order to ensure riders are wearing the most up-to-date riding hats.
Please note that from 1st January 2023, the following hat standards will no longer be accepted, due to the age of hats made to these standards:
1. PAS 015 1998
2. SNELL E2001
A new colour of hat tag will be required for BE, PC and BRC from 1 January 2023.
The following standards and Quality Assurance Marks Accepted are;
Body Protector standards change
As per the BRC website, from January 2024 the 2009 standard will no longer be accepted for competition use.
So when purchasing your new body protectors, please ensure they have the current standard on them.
