(SDRC) is based in Tayside Scotland and was established in 1972. It offers varied activities for both riding and non riding members. Please review our events & news pages for forthcoming activities and new information.

CHRISTMAS PENTHORSE OUT NOW - There are no club activites until February so the Committee would like to wish all members a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

THERE ARE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES LEFT ON THE ANDREW HAMILTON CLINIC ON 5TH FEBRUARY AT AUCHLISHIE.  SEE events FOR DETAILS. MEMBERS OF OTHER RIDING CLUBS MAY ALSO APPLY FOR A SPACE. WE ARE HOLDING A DISCO ON 4TH FEBRUARY 2012 TO KICK OFF OUR SEASON AND OUR 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS.  IT IS BEING HELD AT THE MILLENIUM HALL, BIRKHILL, BY DUNDEE AT 7.30PM.  THERE WILL BE A LICENCED BAR AND SUPPER.  TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW FROM ANY COMMITTEE MEMBER AND ARE A BARGAIN AT £7.50 EACH.  FIFE FOXHOUNDS ARE HOLDING A HUNT RACE ON 22ND JANUARY WHICH SOUND LIKE GOOD FUN FOR COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS ALIKE. Calling All Helpers!!                Claire has agreed to keep a book of helpers to which the committee can refer to get help for each event. Nearer the event we can phone those who have volunteered with specific details. If members want the committee to continue to organize the current high number of events then more help is needed. Tayside Riders Access Group Calling all horse enthusiasts in Tayside Do you enjoy riding out?  Are you fed up with having nowhere safe to ride?Well here is your chance to move things forward!We are a new group of enthusiastic riders, affiliated with the BHS, who want somewhere safe to ride that is off road.  We need new members to help us locate new local tracks and pathways in our area and also tracks that have been closed.
