THE RESULTS OF THE OVERALL SUMMER SHOWJUMPING AND SUMMER LEAGUES HAVE NOW BEEN POSTED. PRIZE GIVING WILL BE AT THE AGM IN OCTOBER. DATE TO FOLLOW. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE PRIZE WINNERS. TEAM SUCESS!! Area results are now available. The Riding Test won and have qualified for the National Championships - well done to Judith Belford, Lousie Andrew, Marjorie Grant and Suzanne Cargill. Marjorie also qualifed by winning her dressage test, the open dressage team was third. An excellant time was had by all. Full report in next Newsletter. PHOTO ADDED ! A photo of this year's Supreme Champion from the Summer Show has been added see Photos page. Have you a photo of you and your horse in action, you would like to share ? If so email us for posting on the website. SDRC have now received official confirmation from the BHS that if you passed your driving test prior to 1997, you can supervise a learner driver with the car and trailer but NOT with a lorry of 3.5 tonnes or over. This only applies providing the learner has passed their car driving test and is only learning with the trailer. |
Helpers Needed!!
Claire has agreed to keep a book of helpers to which the committee can refer to get help for each event. Nearer the event we can phone those who have volunteered with specific details.
If members want the committee to continue to organize the current high number of events then more help is needed. Please give Claire a call and let her know how you can help
